The other day, we were shooting this cute little outfit consisting of the comfiest dress ever that was made to be worn with sneakers and a denim jacket for a perfect casual look. It is a very simple, young and timeless look I have been wearing for years. Even though dresses weren’t my thing for a long time, I have learned to style them my own way (with sneakers ofc!) and wear them more often on daily basis. If you too are a tomboy don’t wait a minute to try this style and trust me, you will instantly embrace it and even become obsessed with it.
There are outfits that are very easy to pull off and yesterday’s outfit is one of them. I cannot live without jeans. For me, they are the ultimate smart-casual fabric to wear in daily life as they instantly make every look more wearable, easy and super comfortable. And as you might have already noticed, I am not a trendsetter trying to wear showstopping looks or the craziest items out there; you will indeed never see me wear clothes that are not reflective of my personality simply because I need to be sure about my outfit to feel confident and comfortable. And that’s the most important thing about clothes; to feel good in what you’re wearing. And as Yves Saint Laurent once said : “Fashions fade, style is eternal”. So the one sure thing is that I will stick to my basics and always try to make my casual looks stylish, smart and above all cool.
Take care guys,
To catch a drink with my girlfriends yesterday evening, I decided to wear white jeans as they gave a contemporary vibe to my Rock’n’Roll look. Jeans are from Tally Weijl, T-shirt and belt from H&M, leather jacket from Zara, sneakers from Converse.
After a super busy week I have finally found some time to share one of the outfits I pulled off a few days ago. I went for an all-black look that I accessorized with my chic tweed bag from Zara to dress it up a bit. The light blue denim jacket serves to contrast with the black color and at the same time brightens the whole look.
Simple, wearable and cool.
This is what I wore for today’s errands:
denim overalls from Stradivarius, white top from Bershka, plaid shirt from H&M, leather jacket from Zara and white worn out Converse.
Sunday calls for super comfy outfits and no makeup.
My mac is getting tired and so am I so we wish you all a beautiful and peaceful night!
After I’ve presented you with several ‘picks of the week’ consisting of bold prints, bright colors and eccentric shapes, this week the opposite is happening as I picked out some of my favorite minimalist pieces of clothing and accessories.
Simple cuts, timeless colors, refined fabrics, fashionable accessories is all you need for a perfect minimalist look.
I AM FULLY SATISFIED with my faux-leather pants and recommend it to anyone. I have been looking for them for a while and even though I wanted tapered pants in faux-leather, the skinny ones ended up being a good purchase too.
As it gets colder, they are the best pair of trousers you can wear since they keep you warm and protects against the cold wind. Not to mention that they are the most stylish and covetable pants these days.
My black turtleneck top seemed the most appropriate top to wear as I wanted a total black look. You can see my white shirt popping out which has been done on purpose, but as it was too chilly and windy while we were shooting, I kept my coat on so there’s no pics about my look without the coat. The black and white houndstooth scarf gives a sophisticated vibe to my casual attire, especially when worn down. My hi top black converse dress it all a bit down but I think they might not be the right pair of sneakers to wear with these pants. Indeed, I tried them with low converse and the result was way better than in these pics, but as I mentioned before, we don’t have L.A weather here anymore so I have to keep my ankles warm. ^_^
YESTERDAY was the kind of day to wear a relaxed outfit and only a touch of mascara since I was not in a mood to dress ‘too properly‘ and spend half an hour putting on make-up. Yeah, I need at least 30 minutes for that, and I guess I inherited this incompetence from my female ancestors as women in my family including me, aren’t very handy when it comes to making ourselves up. The fact I rarely wear anything else than BB cream and mascara, may also explain my awkwardness in this field. I would never be able to write a post about makeup products as many other bloggers do! Haha…
Let us pass now to the outfit and pieces it consists of. I wanted so badly to wear my denim overalls in a totally ‘I-don’t-give-a-fuck‘ way, so I paired them with my bad-ass ‘Line up the bitches‘ t-shirt and denim shirt, and finished the look with my black Converse to accentuate even more my edgy look. It’s impressive how people started at my overalls yesterday, I guess they are used to see ladies wearing leggings as pants not relaxed overalls.
Anyways, the most important in fashion is that you dress for yourself and feel comfortable in what you are wearing, nothing else really matters.
