Hope you’ll enjoy my little story and pics guys.
I miss my niece so much.

I miss my niece so much.
Spring in Paris. About 8pm.
While taking a walk with my sis and niece, I couldn’t resist the urge to take a picture of these ‘agitated’ birds flying back and forth like in the Hitchcock movie.
It was beautiful to look at, but we anyways walked quickly towards the house…
you never know! ^^
I came across this little bastard this summer in Krk, Croatia.
So my first reaction was to find as much information as possible on Croatian scorpions and on Wiki they said there are not very dangerous. Pfiou!
I slept badly that night though…
Hope you’ll enjoy my pics guys!
I realize that five days have passed since my last outfit post and I am quite frustrated that all my attempts to create nice shots were in vain. The thing is that this fucking weather is depressing these days! Not only do I have to deal with the rain, I now have to struggle with the poor light too. Today exactly at noon, I got to turn on the light in my kitchen so I could see while cooking!!
So today’s post is going to be about my day trip to Piran, one of Slovenia’s major tourist attractions. It was actually a perfect day to visit this small town on the Adriatic Sea. What I love most about it, is the alignment of houses and restaurants of every kind of colors along the sea. We had lunch in a very cozy, beautifully decorated and offering a quite good quality food restaurant named ‘Tri Vdove’ (The Three Widows).
For having visited Budva in Montenegro, Split, Krk and many other little towns and islands in Croatia which also have much medieval architecture and typical narrow streets, Piran seemed so déjà-vu. But I simply love those little streets and houses, made of hundreds-year-old stones, which are so familiar and remind me how beautiful and rich the culture I come from is.
It is not surprising that the best TV show of all times, Game of Thrones, is partly filmed on the Croatian coast. For those who are huge GoT fans, King’s Landing is the part made in Croatia and some scenes with Daenerys.
I always got carried away when talking about this show. Haha. What can I do, I love it!
Anyways, I hope you will enjoy my pictures and I hopefully will be able to post some outfit pictures very soon. In the meanwhile, take car guys!
As promised, here is the second part of the day I spent at le Parc du Château de Versailles. I tried to capture all the beauty of it, but it’s actually impossible. There’s so much magic in this park and being able to take a walk in a place where royalties were living and spending most of their time hundreds of years ago, gave me butterflies, kind of. I was pretty excited to walk in their footsteps. With my husband, we discussed the architecture, the immensity of the park, the symmetry of the ponds and trees, it all impressed us since we didn’t expect such a huge place to be so perfect and well-maintained.
Hope you’ll enjoy the pics!
Throwback to my last visit in Paris, when I took my husband to Le Parc du Château de Versailles for the first time. I am ashamed to admit it was my first time visiting it too. But when you live in Paris, you don’t really care about historical buildings and all that stuff, especially when you’re young and a working student. Weekends were for homework and occasionally for the movies, while holidays were for trips outside Paris or outside France. But now that I am living abroad, and knowing a bit more about French history and monuments, I enjoy discovering those places I’ve heard so much about and knew so little.
The day we went visiting, there was only a few people and the weather was excellent. ‘Cause usually, there are people queuing all the way down to the street, so needless to say how happy and lucky we were that day! And as my husband wanted to see every corner of le Parc du Château de Versailles which is 715 hectares, we spent several hours there and at the end I just wanted to go home and took off my new Converse which were killing my feet and back.
Putting aside the pain, this is the most beautiful man-made place I’ve visited so far.
Tomorrow I’ll post more pictures of the park to show you guys, what a divine place le Parc du Château de Versailles is.
When I opened my eyes this morning, the rays of sunshine were penetrating through the curtains into my bedroom and in my world, there’s no better way to start the day. Just after I have taken my breakfast, I stepped on the balcony and immediately felt the warmth of the sun on my skin. It feels strange to be able to walk around barefoot and wearing nothing but a t-shirt at this time of the year. At 10 a.m it was 21°C …
So I have decided to make the most of this beautiful day and went for a morning stroll in the nature, for which I opted for a very simple and comfortable outfit consisting of a v-neck grey and white Gap t-shirt, a dark blue denim sleeveless Levi’s jacket (the 15-year-old one I got from my sister – almost a vintage piece ^^ – and decided to cut the sleeves off) paired with light pink Zara skinny jeans. To finish the look, I took out my favorite and most comfy silver leather gladiator sandals bought in Greece.
I always loved how pink and grey harmonize, especially the lighter shades of these two colors. Talking of which, I am currently looking for a beautiful fluffy candy pink sweater but all those that caught my eye were 100% made of acrylic or polyester and I am so against synthetic fabrics. The one I saw at Stradivarius is beautiful and pretty soft, but the smell is so unbearable! I guess I’ll have to try to wash the bad smell off and wear it over a shirt to get used to it. But if some of you know where I can find a fluffy sweater made at least of 40% cotton, I would be very appreciative if you could help me.
Have a nice one guys!
My day trip to bled was peaceful and invigorating at the same time. I promised to publish more landscape pictures for you to discover the beauty of this Slovenian heaven on Earth, so here are the images I took when I wasn’t posing in front of the camera. ^^
The only problem was that we have arrived there a bit too late, and since the sun goes down pretty early now the light wasn’t very good. So obviously, we didn’t manage to take a walk around the lake or even go a bit further to Bohinj, but we will make more efforts the next time and go there earlier to fully enjoy the natural environment this magical place if offering.
In addition to the pictures, I have to share with you a funny story that happened on the island. Just before boarding on our small boat to get back to the land, we asked a Chinese tourist to take a picture of us, and while we were posing, more Chinese people arrived from nowhere (like the Walkers from the Walking Dead haha) and all started taking pictures of us like we were some monkeys. One of them even followed us to show the pic he snapped. That was pretty funny.
I hope you’ll enjoy my photographs guys. Take care!

This was my second time visiting Bled (Slovenia). Three years ago, I visited the castle with my friends and family who came from Paris for my wedding. This time, we rented a small boat and went straight to the Bled Island in the middle of the Lake Bled and I enjoyed it more this time around.
Firstly, the atmosphere and the landscape are hundreds time prettier during fall, particularly when it’s sunny and a bit windy. You got to witness leaves falling from trees which are like bouncing from place to place, flying, making fall enchanting. In the background, the forest is painted in so many colors that it makes your speechless while staring at it. Nature is so inspiring. Secondly, I prefer the view of Bled from the ground as you can admire the castle from the lake and island as well as from every single hotel, restaurant or street in the city. Don’t get me wrong, the view from the Bled Castle is astonishingly beautiful so it would be a shame to miss it if you’re one day visiting Slovenia.
Anyways, while picking my outfit of the day, my wish was to blend with the environment and it came as natural to wear my goldenrod leather jacket which I paired with black and denim. This way, the jacket became the key piece of the look and moreover respected the surrounding nature. Once I went through the pictures, I was so happy for having picked out this jacket! Hope you’ll enjoy my pictures guys.
ps: Whilst today’s post is all about me and my look of the day, tomorrow you’ll see more pictures of the richness and beauty Bled has to offer to its visitors.
I remember like it was yesterday, the first time I visited Grad Otocec near Novo Mesto. My husband took me there, as we were looking for a location to have our wedding ceremony and I instantly fell in love with it. I always dreamed of an outdoor wedding reception and Otocec got it all; a magnificent small castle, amazingly well-decorated and maintained, situated in an exceptional green landscape all surrounded by water. Our reception was magnificent so this little treasure island has a special place in my heart and since then, whenever I can, I go there for a walk and enjoy its peace and nature.
The pictures are obvious, it’s a magical place. Enjoy the pictures folks!
It is amazing how strolling through the streets of Ljubljana can put me in a good mood. Something is always happening in this tiny downtown! People are out, mingling, enjoying the beginning of the fall and its mild weather. And so am I, in company with my dear friend who was in charge of taking pictures today.
We are so lucky to have such a clement fall, but it’s fair that it is so since the summer wasn’t sunny and hot as it should have been. So for today’s girl’s day out, I went for a very girly look in this flowy three-quarters sleeves navy dress which I styled with biker boots and leather biker jacket to add an edgy vibe. I love mixing two very different styles and wear them together, that’s why it’s pretty impossible to define my style in one word. ^^
