BOWLING NIGHT

DSC_0017

What a night! Well, yes we were all a bit tired after a long week apparently exhausting for all of us, but nothing could wipe the smiles off our faces as we were determined to have fun no matter what. Truth be told, our husbands were in a better mood than us two. The amount of alcohol they gulped helped a lot, not to mention their win!
Anyways, we are ready for a rematch ^_^

MAMA BEAR

DSC_0047

Being a full-time stay-at-home mom doesn’t allow me very often to leave the house and do the second thing I love most, taking pictures. My daughter Kristina is only 9 months old and whenever I am away from her for more than 3 hours, I start to miss her very much and I run home!! Consequently, there’s less content for my blog which frustrates me sometime, but at the end, spending everyday with my baby girl and doing everything with her is and always will be the most important thing in my life.
I know that some moms just don’t have a choice and have to go back to work, but I think this would completely sadden me and even make me depressed. I sympathize perfectly with all working moms, stay strong!
But now that warmer and sunnier days are coming, it’s easier to take her with me whenever I have plans with Lena and keep her around while we are shooting. This is a great compromise, and I am looking forward to doing this more often.
We are women, we know how to do it all at the same time ^^.

By the way, we shot these pictures with Lena while our husbands were walking Kristina around Tivoli Park in Ljubljana. It was at the same time, a productive yet relaxed day with friends and family. I mean, it doesn’t get better than that if you ask me.

For a second, I thought winter was gone for good, at least I hoped it would. Not that I hate winter, but winter without snow is like summer without sun, right?
Like everybody else, I’m now impatiently waiting for the trees to start to bloom, because this lack of greenery makes nature looks sad and depressed.
So to add a bit of joy and colors to this greyness, I went for a combination of pastels mixed with black and white.

Have a nice day guys,
thanks for visiting my blog.

ALL BLUE EVERYTHING

dsc_0312

It’s February, the snow is almost gone and I took my new sneakers for a walk last Sunday, something I wanted to do since I bought them two weeks ago. But as you can see, I am wearing socks! Not as chic as walking around bare ankles or wearing fishnets, but what can I do if I am freezing my butt off!?
I know I’m not the usual fashion blogger, but fuck fashion and style and everything if I don’t feel comfortable in what I’m wearing, right? And I must admit that I make fun of those bloggers who, in order to get more likes on instagram, would wear sandals or go out in denim jackets while it’s – 5 degrees outside. Come on guys! We do not live in California people, this is Europe and it’s winter, so dress accordingly. Spring is around the corner, be patient.
Anyways, in Ljubljana temperatures are still near zero so I opted for an oversized roll neck sweater, ripped jeans and sneakers for a casual afternoon with my love and some friends.

Take care guys,

Xo, G.

WINTER TALE

c0361f67-c6b0-43b4-9f28-1bb68eda9518

Outfit details
Gap sweater / Stradivarius shirt / Gap jeans / H&M scarf / vintage cardi-coat

It was a real winter tale just a few hours before the photoshoot. Everything was covered in frost until the sun showed up and made it all go away. I was hoping for a white Christmas, but it was too much to ask apparently!
Anyways …
Winter usually calls for darker shades, especially when it’s snowing or raining, and surprisingly I am trying to keep it low-key these days when choosing my outfits, picking mostly plain, dark or minimalist pieces. Not sure, if it is because of my new blonde hair, but I am wearing more black than usual.
To be continued …

Good night,

URBAN JUNGLE

dsc_0106

We finally shot this super cool sweater, that I had the chance to buy a day before the KENZO x H&M collection was officially launched, exactly a month ago today. I am completely obsessing over it for two reasons!
The first one is definitely the bold combination of colors and prints, but also the details that really make this piece so special. I loooove the fact the collar isn’t in the same print as the rest of the sweater, and that the sleeves are also different from one another. It is so my style! Too bad though that only a few brands offer that kind of sweaters.
The second reason which makes me like it even more is the quality. It is extremely thick and keeps me really warm these days when temperatures are close to freezing point. My coat was unnecessary, really! And I honestly didn’t expect it to be so comfy. It’s definitely the best purchase I have made this year.

I styled it with my ripped mom jeans, biker boots and fuchsia coat to be sure I got noticed ^^ just kidding . . . but this coat is really flashy! Love it despite all the remarks I get from my husband every time I wear it ^^

Hope you like the pictures guys! See you next post!

MAX&CO. MISS JUNO MINI COMET

b2ad98ee-71dd-4baa-a623-61f13e6394bb

Wearing : Max&Co. coat, sweater, pants and bag / Stradivarius boots

A couple of days ago, Max&Co. organized a fashion event to present their ‘celestial’ collection of bags, called Miss Juno including models with names such as Comet, Droid or Satellite. From totes to mini cross-body bags, there is something for every taste, both when it comes to shapes and colors.
For my part, I fell for the Mini Comet in silver for two simple yet essential reasons. First, it can be carried across the body, which is my favorite way of carrying bags since I love my hands free. Second, the neutrality of its silver shade makes it very easy to combine. Doesn’t matter the color or the print, this little silver bag simply works!
I am now letting you enjoy the pictures shot by the talented Katarina Veselič.

By the way, until the end of November you can get 20% off on the whole collection (not just bags) at the Max&Co. store located in Ljubljana, Mikloőičeva 1. The only thing you need to do, is to mention the name of my blog. ^^

Thanks for visiting my blog guys,
