PINK, STRIPES AND GOLD

PIC 1I cannot believe how far is this shot from the initial idea I had in mind. This is what happens when the light isn’t right. In the first place, it was supposed to be a post about my growing obsession for gold rings and it ended up being a makeup post. Hilarious, when I know that a few days ago, in one of my posts, I spoke of my clumsiness as to putting on my makeup and how I would never be able to dedicate a whole article to it!
Anyways, there’s at least one thing I love about these pics and it’s my old rainbow striped top from H&M. Do you guys also keep your clothes for so long? This one is about 10 years old and it is almost new! As for the rings, they are all from H&M too. The last time I went shopping, I was nicely surprised by their jewelry collection this season and decided to buy two sets of rings to expand my small collection. On the last picture, I am wearing two of them which actually remind me of the Repossi ring I use in my FPTL combos.

For those who liked the color of my lipstick, it’s Fuchsia Flash 902 Colorsensational by Maybelline. The nail polish is Dancing Queen by Alessandro.

I am off to bed now! ^^

BLACK DENIM OVERALLS

LOTD 1
FRACOMINA down jacket + H&M denim shirt + STRADIVARIUS denim overalls + CONVERSE sneakers + TOM FORD sunglasses

YESTERDAY was the kind of day to wear a relaxed outfit and only a touch of mascara since I was not in a mood to dress ‘too properly‘ and spend half an hour putting on make-up. Yeah, I need at least 30 minutes for that, and I guess I inherited this incompetence from my female ancestors as women in my family including me, aren’t very handy when it comes to making ourselves up. The fact I rarely wear anything else than BB cream and mascara, may also explain my awkwardness in this field. I would never be able to write a post about makeup products as many other bloggers do! Haha…

Let us pass now to the outfit and pieces it consists of. I wanted so badly to wear my denim overalls in a totally ‘I-don’t-give-a-fuck‘ way, so I paired them with my bad-ass ‘Line up the bitches‘ t-shirt and denim shirt, and finished the look with my black Converse to accentuate even more my edgy look. It’s impressive how people started at my overalls yesterday, I guess they are used to see ladies wearing leggings as pants not relaxed overalls.
Anyways, the most important in fashion is that you dress for yourself and feel comfortable in what you are wearing, nothing else really matters.

Have a nice one folks!

KNIT AND STRIPES

LOTD 1

Today’s look of the day consists of a very smooth cashmere striped dress which I wore under a very cozy and warm oversized cardigan. I love the feeling this cardigan gives me every time I wear it; the impression that I haven’t left my bed and that I’m still under my quilt. If this isn’t the best feeling ever, I don’t know what is!
This is what I love most about oversized knitwear which is ideal for the type of chilly weather we currently have in Slovenia. I just hope it’s not going to rain again, ’cause rain sucks, right?! Not only I feel depressed as soon as it starts raining but it prevents me from shooting outdoor pictures, it also ruins all my look from head to toe, unless I carry my super large and heavy umbrella which is also super bulky. It just goes on and on and on… Hopefully, we will experience a rainless end of autumn, that would be awesome!

Wish you all a great Saturday night!

TURTLENECK TOP

MLOTD 2
I am wearing : ZARA turtleneck top and earrings, STRADIVARIUS cardigan-coat, TALLY WEIJL jeans, GAMLOONG leather boots, H&M rings

This is how I dressed today. As usual, I went for a very casual, comfortable outfit by wearing my new burgundy cardigan/coat which I paired with a body-kissing turtleneck top in a rose poudré shade and a pair of high-waist skinny jeans. I finished the look with my black boots, which you’ll see me wearing a lot in the days to come.
After we had a warm weather for the past 2 weeks, fall officially kicked off today. The hardest thing now, is to adjust my wardrobe to the chilly weather and start wearing layers of clothes, shawls, thicker socks etc. Not that I’m not prepared, but after living almost 5 months under 23 degrees, I got used to wearing shirts instead of jackets, so it feels like the transition is going to be a bit hard.

Hope you’ll like my pics guys!

CHÂTEAU DE VERSAILLES / PART 2

CDV 2 1As promised, here is the second part of the day I spent at le Parc du Château de Versailles. I tried to capture all the beauty of it, but it’s actually impossible. There’s so much magic in this park and being able to take a walk in a place where royalties were living and spending most of their time hundreds of years ago, gave me butterflies, kind of. I was pretty excited to walk in their footsteps. With my husband, we discussed the architecture, the immensity of the park, the symmetry of the ponds and trees, it all impressed us since we didn’t expect such a huge place to be so perfect and well-maintained.

Hope you’ll enjoy the pics!

CHÂTEAU DE VERSAILLES / PART 1

CDV 1
Wearing : ZARA jacket, t-shirt and bag, H&M leggings and shirt

Throwback to my last visit in Paris, when I took my husband to Le Parc du Château de Versailles for the first time. I am ashamed to admit it was my first time visiting it too. But when you live in Paris, you don’t really care about historical buildings and all that stuff, especially when you’re young and a working student. Weekends were for homework and occasionally for the movies, while holidays were for trips outside Paris or outside France. But now that I am living abroad, and knowing a bit more about French history and monuments, I enjoy discovering those places I’ve heard so much about and knew so little.

The day we went visiting, there was only a few people and the weather was excellent. ‘Cause usually, there are people queuing all the way down to the street, so needless to say how happy and lucky we were that day! And as my husband wanted to see every corner of le Parc du Château de Versailles which is 715 hectares, we spent several hours there and at the end I just wanted to go home and took off my new Converse which were killing my feet and back.

Putting aside the pain, this is the most beautiful man-made place I’ve visited so far.
Tomorrow I’ll post more pictures of the park to show you guys, what a divine place le Parc du Château de Versailles is.

STATEMENT TOP

I have always be hooked on statement, uncommon clothing especially when it comes to t-shirts and sneakers. The idea of having something unlike anything others were wearing was exciting and is still currently relevant. Being original is all that matters.

The t-shirt with a man’s face painted on it caught my eye a few months ago, so I couldn’t leave it there. The cotton fabric is extremely soft, the length is as I like it, the colors of the print are perfect as there’s lots of blue, red, pink, orange, black, nude and white which makes it very easy to combine. However, the only ‘major detail’ that’s bothering me since day one, is the collar. A bit too large so I’m thinking of cutting it off and make an off-shoulder t-shirt for next summer…

Anyways, I must admit I didn’t put a lot of thought into this look as I had to leave the house in a hurry but when you possess nice pieces of clothing, you cannot go wrong, ever. So buy wisely guys! ^^

In addition to my personal snaps, you can find 6 very different looks wearable to a variety of occasions, so enjoy them and hope I helped you get inspired!
